Facebook Lands Million Dollar Ad Deal!

Facebook’s coffers are set to grow as the world’s largest social network has reportedly bagged a multi-year advertising deal worth millions of dollars. The Publicis Groupe, a French advertising agency, has reportedly struck the deal with the company.

Further, reports say that the deal will be focusing on video ads, which appear on Facebook and those appearing on its mobile photo-sharing application Instagram. The terms of the deal reportedly say that Publicis would have access to Facebook user data, which would let them monitor the ad performance on the social network. In addition, the company would also have access to Facebook engineers along with some other units of the company. This would help them create special ad units on both Facebook and Instagram.

The deal will reportedly be managed by agencies of Publicis that are present in North America. This will be followed by a global rollout, said reports. Publicis-owned Starcom MediaVest has reportedly led the negotiations for the deal.
